10_To not let you go without warning.
It is harvest season.
Around this time, I think I should reap the fruits and settle the account.
I feel anxious and impatient, but this year it’s actually the opposite.
The stress level flows gently like a calm river.
A relaxed mind floats above it.
But the end of October mercilessly took young lives.
A few days passed, confused by indiscriminate videos and gossip.
May the wronged souls rest in peace,
I deeply hope that the world will become safer for more people.

-. I really liked the section called “Show kindness. Especially when you’re confused about what’s going on.” Aren’t there times in life when you feel pessimistic? Because if there is sunlight, there is also shadow. You may think that the key to ‘kindness’ is a slightly optimistic solution, but kindness is like ‘multiplication’. A single act of kindness gives birth to multiple acts of kindness, and they multiply again, and at some point, it becomes warm to places I can’t even reach.

-.I came to think that people who are good at creating can do well, regardless of field. Maybe it’s not that patent attorney work isn’t fun, but that I’m making it boring? I think I was limiting myself by saying that since I was a patent attorney, I couldn’t create anything. Personally, I respect a German designer named Dieter Rams. If Dieter Rams had been a patent attorney, I think he would have created something wonderful. If Steve Jobs was a patent attorney, I think he would have created something cool as a patent attorney. However, for them, the object was just a product and a mobile phone. Instead of blaming the field of patent attorneys, I thought, let’s create something wonderful.

-. Various thoughts came to my head all the time, and some of them were mature enough to become complete sentences if I wrote them down, but the thoughts that were not written down stayed in me for a while and then just flew away. Referring to this case, a famous writer said this: Thoughts are like scents; if you don’t hold onto them at the moment, they will fly away. I now strongly regret throwing away ‘good’ thoughts.
-.Not long ago, our bookstore invited author Jeong Ji-woo and held a book talk on the topic of ‘writing.’ It was a time to look into the meaning of writing, not how to write well. About writing, the author said this: It’s about fighting against the standards of evaluation that invade me every day. I immediately understood what the author was trying to say, but if it were someone else, I think it would have been said differently. A time of self-reflection or encounter with oneself. He spoke in his own language, not that ‘ordinary language’, and it stuck in my ears, which are sensitive to words and writing.
-.I expressed my inner thoughts in writing, and when I meet someone who likes me, my lonely and anxious heart becomes brighter. Therefore, I wrote this in the title of a writing class I held with a company some time ago. People who write are not lonely. In order not to regret it again in the future, and to not let the thoughts within me go away without a trace, I must write them down. In a season where it’s easy to feel lonely, I hope you’ll try writing something, too.

-.The love I think of is something that allows you to make sentences like ‘~nevertheless.’ It’s not about what’s good for something, but what you’re willing to endure even if you don’t like something.

-.When I finally received my diploma, I felt more anxious than proud. I climbed the stairs of the apartment called life and reached the level called college graduation, but after passing the level called military, it felt like only a cliff remained. It was a time when the word ‘Jijapdae’ was very popular. On the Internet, graduates of Jijap University were portrayed as a group of people who lived lives in which the studies they had learned so far were useless. I couldn’t deny it. At a time when the Galaxy S2 was being popularized, what could you do with the knowledge of making a circuit that turns the speaker on and off with a switch? The graduates exchanged empty promises, saying, “Let’s keep in touch often,” and on the bus on the way home, sticky dry saliva ran down my parched throat.
Hyunwoo Chun graduated from the electronics department of a junior college in 2011 and worked at small and medium-sized businesses. Due to poverty that struck me during what I thought was the second act of my youth, I became a welder, unrelated to my original major. I live a life where I melt iron to complete products during the day, and melt my thoughts to complete writing at night.

-.Why is it sad? I was curious about that. When I think of my mother, why is there sadness at the end of my heart? That day, I read a book all night long. Even though I knew there was no answer to such a question, I did it just as I learned from my mother.
The answer to the question came from an unexpected place. It was in front of a shoe store. I saw a pretty pair of shoes and thought they would look good on my mom, but I just came with the excuse that I didn’t have time. I should bring him next time to try on the shoes and then buy them for him, I thought, then suddenly realized. That I love my mom more than anything.
I was sad because I loved not enough. Even if I die or wake up, I can’t love you as much as my mother. If the shoes don’t fit, you can just change them or throw them away, so why didn’t you buy them on the spot?
