Inju is So Fortunate, Part 1
My phone’s camera sensor broke.
It doesn’t focus well on objects, and if I zoom in, the screen shakes wildly. I went to the Apple Store, and they said camera repair was possible, but since I’ve used it for about 3 years, the battery is also worn out, and its lifespan is ending, they recommended the newly released iPhone 16e. For now, there aren’t any major issues with using it, so I told them I’d think about it and came back.
Sometime ago, I stopped backing up my phone photos.
I don’t particularly want to pay to increase my iCloud storage. The photos I habitually take every day somehow started to feel like unworn clothes piled deep in a closet. Backing up and storing those photos feels like carrying a heavy burden.
I thought these were photos I wouldn’t deeply miss even if they disappeared anytime. But is that really true?
Last night, I lay in bed and scrolled through my photo album.
Photos that weren’t selected as A-grade worthy of showing off on social media, but are too precious to delete – photos imbued with our memories and recollections.
They contain moments full of happiness, laughter, and love. The subtitle for this photo collection was inspired by the movie
