My First Week as a Tongdaesaeng: Odds and Ends
Classes started on March 4th…
My life as a Tongdaesaeng finally began,
and I had a whirlwind first week -

My confirmed schedule…
My dream of having one day off a week is long gone 😇
Well, students should go to school every day, right?
I’m comforting myself by saying that for a Tongdaesaeng overwhelmed with assignments + studies, a day off is a luxury… 🙃
Don’t grad students have an entrance ceremony…?
The weekend before classes started (D-1), I went to lunch with my boyfriend.
He said he was going to the restroom, and then handed me a rose when he came back 🌷
He said it was to celebrate my admission 🤭 (I’ll be watching to see how long this sweetness lasts 👀)

Who’s the skewer? 🤓

Wow, it’s a world where attendance is checked with QR codes now???
Back in my day… well, yes.
But it didn’t work well for everyone, so it was pure chaos 🫥 lolol

Even without a day off,
on days when classes are in the late afternoon, I can still visit hot spots during weekday daytime hours, you know? ☕️
It’s a place called Seohwa Coffee in Hyehwa.
The interior is pretty, but the taste isn’t great… 🙄

So touched by the quality for 6,500 won 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’m going to frequent the school cafeteria!!!!
Goodbye forever to those crappy lunches in Gangnam that cost over 10,000 won!!!!

But it’s only the first week, and these are just the first classes,
yet assignments are already piling up like crazy 📚📖📓📕
This… is normal, right??? I need to get used to this, right??? 🥹
Now that I’ve had dinner and rested a bit…
Shall I go do my assignments…? 🌈
