As an interpreter and translator

Structured, comprehensible, flexible.

Among the stories told by experienced and experienced professors in the first sequential/simultaneous interpretation OT classes I took after the first semester of the second year began, here are some words to deeply engrave:

  • Above all, I hope you take good care of your mental health.

  • The most necessary skills for interpretation: structure, comprehension, flexibility

  • If you want to increase interpretation, you need to increase the audio input.

  • Your skills will improve if you read it with your eyes and say it rather than write it down.

  • In order to improve, you must always measure.

  • You must reserve at least 3 hours of study time every day.

  • Rather than focusing on each word, you should accept the speaker’s words as images.
