Taking it Easy Every Day

As working from home became prolonged and I started eating lunch at home more often,

I suddenly felt the need to adjust my diet.

Was it Gouda cheese and Parmesan cheese 🧀?

Rich, pungent cheese and various vegetables,

and just olive oil and pepper for dressing, it’s done in a flash.

I discovered a great bakery in my neighborhood.

They bake bread daily, mainly baguettes and ciabattas,

and they’re so savory and delicious haha.

Paired with jamón, it’s heavenly!

My favorite stray cat in the neighborhood 🐈💜

When I go get coffee in the morning or go for a workout,

I often run into it, a little reconnaissance haha.

Did it accept my eye greeting…? Such a shy baby ㅠㅡㅠ

It’s so cute, my heart aches…

But recently, it hadn’t been seen for quite a while, which worried me so much..🤒

Last time, it appeared so skinny and frail, looking utterly haggard,

my heart ached ㅠㅠ. And then the kitty disappeared again…

I hope it’s living safely and well somewhere…🙏🏻

While working from home, I suddenly got a KakaoTalk message from my manager.

When I opened it, it was about a tiny cactus I bought and gifted to them

a few years ago when I visited Barcelona…

They said it had grown so big and well over those few years,

and sent me a commemorative photo because it made them think of me!!!!

I was reaaaally surprised when I saw the photo!!!!

My manager seems to have a real talent for growing plants… hehehe.

They said the heart-shaped growth at the very top was cute haha.

But seriously, the little one that was only the size of that heart shape when I first bought it,

to think it grew so much… 🌱

Maybe the Seoul air suits it better than Barcelona’s? hehehehe.

While working from home, I listen to Crush’s songs the most…

His voice never gets old ㅠ.ㅠ

Listening to his jam live sessions, I get so excited as if I’m at a concert 🎶

Cheering along and clapping hehehehe.

I wanted to change the atmosphere of my room,

so I tore out a favorite picture from the Monet calendar Seoko gave me last year

and stuck it on the wall.

Every time I lie in bed and look at it, my heart feels so peaceful👼🏻.

Seeing warm and cool colors at the same time seems to make it more harmonious..!

Sunday brunch with the girls after a long time! 🥰

We went to Three Birds Central City branch.

We arrived almost as the first customers, so it was quiet and peaceful,

with white wine hehehehe 🥂 and a grand meal…☆

The hummus salad was so delicious ㅠ.ㅠ Thinking about it makes me want to eat it again!!!!

And this open avocado shrimp sandwich was also really, really delicious ㅠㅠ.

The food here was a huge success!!!!

The pasta below was also perfectly to my taste hehehehe.

We also ordered something like pancakes for dessert hehe.

So sweet~~

Though I eat well when I’m out,

there are also days I eat really well at home… 🥑🥑

Mom’s homemade avocado salad is so abundant, so rich!!

One weekend, I decided to treat myself to a solo brunch ☕.

To use up the figs piled up in the fridge, I quickly set up a brunch table.

Since I spend a lot of time at home due to WFH,

it’s fun to take out and use the dishes from the display cabinet one by one hehe.

I take after my mom, so later… when I live independently, I feel like I’ll have a huge

collection of dishes…😵

🎉 For Mom’s birthday,

I decided to cook for her this year!!!

I saw Choi Woo-shik making ragu sauce on a summer vacation variety show

and was inspired to try making it myself..!

I think I put in a lot more red wine🍷… hahaha.

To go with the pasta,

a fig, cucumber, tomato, paprika, and cheese salad! haha.

Mom liked it hehehe.

I think she appreciated my effort more than the taste hehehehe.

I think we drank two bottles of wine that day @.@

Mom wanted to go to Don Spike’s 🥩 meat restaurant,

but it’s always fully booked, so it’s hard to go ㅠㅠ.

So, Mom, inspired by Don Spike,

grilled the meat reaaally deliciously, and it was a huge success!!!

Juicy… slurp 😝

I really wanted abalone, so I ordered it and ate it raw right away hehe.

Since there was no white wine, I dipped it in sesame oil and salt with beer

for a late-night snack ㅠㅠ. I love it so much…😊

Raw abalone never gets old, no matter how much you eat it, so chewy and crunchy hehehe.

Discovered a great dakttongjip (chicken gizzard) place at the neighborhood market!!!

They also sold wingettes and drumettes, so I bought them too and had them as a late-night snack with beer at home hehehe.

Since I ate a lot, I have to exercise just as hard..!

One of the reasons why WFH is so great is 🧘🏻‍♀️

that I can go exercise during lunchtime!

Lately, I’ve been going to Pilates every lunchtime,

and it feels so refreshing, and I feel like my core muscles are getting stronger little by little,

so I’m proud*^^*.

Masks are a must even when doing Pilates!

After my birthday, in early August, I got the shortest bob I’ve ever had.

It was shorter than I expected, so I was a bit surprised at first..

But washing my hair is a whole new world~ hahaha.

Triangle kimbap hair… hehe. It’s grown out a lot more now..

One day, while passing the Han River on the subway.

It was a day when the sky was so clear and the clouds were beautiful .

Family dinner after a long time.

Visited Lawry’s The Prime Rib, a place of memories for our family!

(But Lawry’s Seoul isn’t great ㅠㅠ. Jakarta is the best!!!)

The meat carver who came with the trolley,,,

the Lawry’s Cut and a cut that’s ‘athlete-sized’

whose name I forgot hehehe.

Our family isn’t the type to overeat,

so this amount was enough to fill us up! 😁

It was a bit expensive, but

the seafood tomato pasta we ordered as a side was more delicious than expected.

The lobster, shrimp, scallops, and squid were fresh. 🍝

The ‘Hocance’ members reunited!

Led by Juncheol Oppa, we had a wonderful dinner at CHARR

at RYSE Hotel in Hongdae.

This place had such a great atmosphere and taste!!! 😋

Before the meal, they lit rosemary to stimulate our appetites,

and it was so nice~ sniff sniff. 😌

I’m also really into incense these days, so I love these kinds of scents hehe.

The salad was so refreshing and delicious,

and the cream pasta was really delicious too! Not greasy at all!!!

For the second round, we went to SIDE NOTE CLUB

on the hotel rooftop to have cocktails! 🍸

The DJ here… works so hard…🎧🎶

The music was really, really good ㅠㅠ. All to my taste hehehehe. thump-thump

It had rained, so we couldn’t drink on the rooftop, which was a shame ㅠ.ㅠ

The atmosphere was amazing, and the view was great too!!!

🎎 A wedding relay starting in autumn hehehe.

Among them, an orchestra couple got married!

For the first time, I performed a congratulatory piece, ‘The Marriage of Figaro’.

It was a piece I couldn’t perform because a concert was canceled,

but I got to play it in a small setting like this.

I couldn’t put flowers on the oboe, so I put them on my wrist hehehe.

Flowers on the flute look pretty *_*.

The wedding had truly beautiful flowers.

After the wedding, the mothers were picking up flowers as if they were at a flower shop hehehe.

I would have taken some too if I were going straight home…

but I had to go for orchestra practice.. Bye bye…🥲

The first day we had an online company dinner! hahaha.

The committee members who prepared it were really thoughtful and creative,

even arranging a game corner, and it was really fun hehehe.

Are we going to live in a cyber world like this ㅠㅠ? WFH is good, but…

it’s true that the ‘flavor’ of going to work disappears ㅠㅠ.

Still, WFH is the best!!!! WFH is supreme!!!! 😆

I wanted Nike Air Max, 🤤

and Seongyun said he’d get me a pair of Nike shoes,

and just then, Air Max appeared 뙇! And even in my favorite light purple 뙇!!!

Air Max are pretty, but on rainy days or slippery surfaces,

you really have to be careful… the sole is slippery ㅠㅠ.

This year, we said we wouldn’t make Chuseok holiday food,,,

but our family still loves holiday food hehehe.

So Mom made just a little bit of food!

Holiday food can get tiresome if you eat too much, but on the day itself, it’s truly delicious!!!

💖And so, the Chuseok holiday passed~

Minjeong, who didn’t go down to Busan during the Chuseok holiday,

so we had a Chobbae gathering hehehe.

At Minjeong’s regular wine bar🍷, Bebitore, we had a grand time hehehe.

We definitely boosted the owner’s sales that day…

Strangely, why are there no photos of the main event, the wine? hehehehe.

The jamón/cheese plate the owner gave us as a surprise service hehe.

Slightly seared with fire, it melted in my mouth hehe. It melted.

One weekend, I sat on the terrace of Mom’s cafe, and the greenery

I captured them as a memory before they turn yellow soon hehe.

The weather was so nice. So peaceful~ 🌿🍃🌳🍀🪴

Now, the season for warm lattes is coming…! ☕
