Things that bloom and fade quickly.
It’s been such a long time since I posted about my daily life,
as I kept skipping over uncomfortable and unstable days,
I kept procrastinating, wondering where to even begin,
and then I decided to post this, fearing I’d miss out on recording the first half of 2021.
The season of color has subtly seeped in beside me.
I’m looking forward to summer, when the green becomes even more vivid.

A short spring, magnolias blooming and fading quickly.
Magnolias seen at night are always consistently beautiful.

The day I helped my friend move,
so many things were different from moving back in our college days.
We still drank a lot, were just as immature, and it was great.
“Moonlit Dance” suddenly came to mind, making me chuckle.

Discovered a truly authentic Spanish restaurant, The Xef.
The interior, the atmosphere, the taste — everything felt so Spanish.

The best appetizer, anchovy pintxos.

The paella and calamari were quite salty, very Spanish-like.
A taste that calls for wine.
Churaumi,

Ingyedong Kkeopdegi,

Terrace Room,

Il Mattone,

And
Your grand and challenging birthday party is finally over!!!
Three out of the four of us have birthdays concentrated in February-March, so it always feels like there are a lot of events early in the year.
There were even some gift disputes, but
when I’m with you guys, I always want to be tipsy, and I feel like I’m already drunk lol.
Plump, fully bloomed cherry blossom clusters.
They couldn’t last long because of the rain.
Goodbye, I’ll see you again next spring.

How long will cats remain so adorable?

No… this was just too cute, I had to take a picture…
When did they climb all over it and leave those paw print marks…?

Even at Yongmunsa Temple, which I visited for the first time in almost 3 years,
there were cats with bells around their necks.

It was my first time at Yongmunsa in spring,
and it was quiet, cool, and lovely.

A flowering tree I found in the subway.

It was an impulse buy, but
I bought an Arne Jacobsen desk clock.
It was a deeper green than I expected, and I love it because it’s so pretty.

The hyacinths that have all withered now.
I kept them by my side even when I slept and took special care of them,
I wonder if they’ll bloom again next year.

Even after a long time, we chatted away,

My regular neighborhood bakery,
because the scribbles, which look like a child drew them, are so cute.

A favorite faded photo,
How old were Seonghwan and I? So adorable.

Weekdays lately are calm,
and I consistently go to Pilates.
To welcome the warmer weather, I bought a few bright leggings and tops.
Just one pair of sky-blue leggings makes me feel so refreshed.

Is it natural to like the season you were born in the most?
I have a strong memory of last year’s summer not feeling like summer at all.
I’m looking forward to the upcoming summer.
